you wont regret acquiring the C6 ZO6, plain and simple!!!! regardless of your needs.

 

Get the Z06 and then go get some gold chains! Wooohooo!

Both 996TT and Z06 are great car for DD and track. If you get the Z06, you better spend some money with the int. I've sat in the copper color C6 last Sat monring. THe GT3 seats, leather and color stitching are MUST for all vette. But for me, I will still pick the TT anyday! If you need a ride for mod. TT to make up your mind, I'm more than happy to give you a ride!

 

I had an '05 C6 for just over a year and found it to be a pretty decent car. Orange peel in the paint and big ***** on the interior and littered with cheap plastic turned me off a bit. The power was awesome (low end torque) and the handling was pretty damn good....I can only image the feeling the Z06 must have to drive (I have only ridden in one). Numb feeling though from tires to the steering wheel. It almost drives itself. I got out of it and into a CaymanS for one year. Loved the CaymanS but it needs another 100HP at least... so I got the '03 996tt which is the best car I have owned.

From what I have seen and read, the Z06 is a helluva car. I like it. I will admit my opinon of the car has changed over the past coupe of months as I used to bash it a bit. My opinon has changed to the point where I am considering one as well.

 

The '08 Viper is going to be a 600 horsepower beast. I'm very curious to see what it can do. May be room in the garage if it proves to be worthy.

 

Vipers are garbage. They get absolutely no traction and are ugly. I ahve driven both, and the Z06 is hands down the best all-round performer on the market. Perod.

 

I own both at 996TT and a ZO6. The 996TT is much more refined and I prefer the way the stering is weighted and the driving position much more. The ZO6 is an animal, but still comfortable to drive. In my humble opinion I think the ZO6 is a better track car, but I feel the 996TT is a better road car. If I had a loaded gun to my head to pick which car I would prefer, I would pick the Porsche.

The Z06 is a really great car for it's intended purpose.

 

Omar stupid question but why are you getting rid of the C2? have you outgrown the car, or do you feel you need something else to drive faster?As you know I just went thru this exact same thing, I ended up with a TT for the simple reason that I drive the car 365 days a year, and that was a better car for me the other 350 days a year i am not on the track.The Z06 is a Great car, and very fun but with that being said it will never be a TT and really it shouldnt be because two different cars...The viper well I dont know about you but i could never get that car to be as fast as others...its outside my skill set.
