that seems a little overpriced... I guess he's just trying to see what his car could fetch.

 

I dunno... he has some serious coin in it. Plus it is the record holder, and you don't have to wait 6-9 months to have one built. Getting it NOW is worth the $$ to some people.

One BAD *** car all around and a great guy too.

well yeah, all things considered, i think its a fair price to ask now that it hink about it

 

Even if I had the 150k to spend on it, I would not get that car. I would kill myself in that thing. Dead is dead, even if it is accompanied by an ear-to-ear grin.

But for someone that wants a beast like that and can handle it, I don't think the asking price is too steep. The time it took to develop that car alone would be worth that price.

 

Have to agree....fastest street ride for $150....worth it just for bragging rights. That being said I wouldn't touch it.....just begging for a real nagging case of sudden impact trauma.

Heffner's Performance I believe just built a faster one with a new world record of 7.5 second-ish.

 

They bolted one of their turbo kits on a back half, glide, solid axle race car, but I'm not sure what it has run yet.


That IMO isn't even remotely a real comparison to a 6spd irs car.

Heff has yet to produce a dyno sheet that even remotely compares to the others. And not just in peak power, but overall area under curve, and full powerband average.
