997 Turbo TT Crested Wheel Caps.

997 Turbo TT - First order for OEM Colour Crested Wheel Caps.

it is lucky or what. i believe i have ordered the very first set for the OEM 997 Turbo. We ordered the moment they said it would be biginning to be made available.

First set is coming to Australia !!.

They call it the lucky country. maybe so, but for P cars, it certainly is'nt - For the money, Each and every Ossie P owner can own 3 (THREE ! ) Porsches of the same variant in the USA.

i can now retire my vinyl stickered caps, as spares

Not sure what product you're talking about. Any of the 60mm wheel caps, colored, black and white, GT3, etc. will fit the TT wheels. Colored crested wheel caps have been available for a long, long time...at least here in the states.

Really? I've never seen that version. Do you mind posting a picture of it when you get it.

The wheel cap crests arrived at the dealership, but the ones

The wheel cap crests arrived at the dealership. they then phone me to apologise that it did not have the mirror finish. i will just install the normal ones, as i dont think it makes very much of a difference.
so apologies to everyone. i am sorry to have believed spare parts at my dealership.

in pics below, you will notice stickered wheel crests.

BTW, this below is our new TT. it needs a wash, but i wanted to rush a post to atomica tonight.

can anyone spot something different ?

1st one is oem with my sticker over it. 2nd one is colour crested and with alloy finish as a background.
all the confusion was about thinking they had a crested version with the polished finish of TT oem's.

the alloy background does not detract at all.
