I'd check to see if the wheels have the Porsche part number on them. Also, the wheel width and offset are usually located next to the valve stem (at least on 996 rims).

Even if they're real, they can or cannot be hollow-spoke Turbo wheels. If they're hollow-spokes, the back of the spokes will be smooth, if they are solid-spoke, the back of the spokes will be textured.

Lift them up. Chances are if they are Replicas they will be cast and absurdly heavy.
As a point of reference swing by your local Porsche dealership and lift the OE 997 Turbo Wheels. They are forged and very light for their size. There will be a night and day difference in the weights.

Thanks again guys I knew it was to good to be true. I got the part numbers from Porsche parts the other day before looking at the wheels. The price of 1350 for wheels and tires had to go and check.

If anyone need to know the part #'s for the future it is #99704460221 and last 2 digits can change all the way up to 25 (22,23,24). Also there will be an upside down triangle near the center cap.

Thanks again

The 997 Turbo wheels are unique in that they are forged, not cast. The part numbers are engraved on the side of the back pad. You can see the numbers by looking between the spokes. Unlike all other modern Porsche Factory wheels the width and offset is not on the wheel next to the valve. We do have several sets of wheels that have been traded in from new 997 Turbos that will also fit 997 Carrera 4 or 4S or Targa 4. Please call or e-mail or pm for current price.

Now I'm armed, but still harmless. $2250 for 4 with new Bridgestones seems a little too good to be true.

So these people that are buying some aftermarket wheels never hold onto the factory wheels?
