The engine with the organic looking intake (100 hours of machine work on that intake btw and $8,000 to buy it) is putting out over 1700hp so yeah, it will kill a 1,000hp Viper. Not to mention it will sit and idle quieter than my 396SBC. I will be getting a ride in the Fbomb car(green car in 1st couple pics) next time I am down.
The pic with one of these monster motors mounted in it is a..........wait for it........1980's Mazda Rx7. $35k motor in a Mazda. That car will be scary. It won't weigh more than 2500lbs. It will put out almost 1200 hp on good old pump gas.

Don't get me wrong, Nelson's work is beyond impressive. But I would like to see if one of his cars can spank a 1000rwhp Viper...in anything.

I'm a "Ford" SBC kinda guy but to hell with that if I could get something like this under the hood!
I vow the next motor I'm going to build will be forced induction. Not that 400HP is anything to sneeze at but I visit Santana Row and I'm at the bottom of the food chain with FI Vipers and Vette's nearing 1,000HP.
