When is the 998 Turbo coming out?

A friend of mine said he heard the 998 is coming out in 2009 on the 911. Does anyone know about the 998 schedule for each style Porsche? What will be different on the 998 vs 997? Thanks!

Unfortunately I doubt anyone is going to have an answer for you...I'd like to know myself, but realistically I don't think any of this information has leaked yet.

Don't worry, the 998 is definitely not going to be out for a while. Probably not until 2011 at the earliest.

I was at the dealer today and they are now taking deposits for an allocation slot 2009 997 GT3 and GT2 (BTW, the GT2 allocation for "The collection" in Miami is full). SO a 998 is not going to be available until at least 3 or 4 years.
