Not if you believe the Mercedes website claim that the SL65 0-60 time is 4.2 seconds. That's not even in the same ballpark as the TT

Wow that was not even a contest. The 997 TT without a doubt will take the AMG every time but that looked like the AMG driver had his right leg amputated. Take him on again and even give him a head start and still crush him.

There is a BIG difference between an SL65 and an S65. Neither car is faster than a 997TT. But an S65 is a sedan - a very bad *** sedan. But there shouldn't be too much glory in pulling a nearly 5,000 lb sedan - even if it does have over 600 hp. Now, pulling an SL65 is another story. That is a feat. Still too heavy to touch the 997TT but an awesome car nonetheless.

So which was it that you pulled - S65 or SL65???

 

It doesn't matter if its S65 or SL65, they both are about the same speed(half car length go both ways) as a STOCK 997TT manual, or slower than a 997TT Tip. This was proven like an year ago. I had a SL65 and my buddy had 997TT manual.
