Finally got my account activated, think it took a week. I have had many cars and what not, and just picked up a black xlr..

Here you go...I had one...but its been long gone...I lemoned it and sued GM for tons of money

 

lol..care to go into details at all? I have only seen one or two around Idaho

 

top kept malfunctioning...traded car in to Mercedes for a Brabus E55 and then realized I took a 26K loss in less than 5 months of owning it so I took my lawyer, showed him the bills and he got me a cash settlement to get me my 26K back even though car was already sold.

My friend bought a xlr-v, sorry to say tons of issues and not very fast, he sold it for a huge loss......

 

was considering one, almost bought it. untill dealer got one in and test drove it. Not a 80000+ car. body rolls crazy and really slow. I would go get a used SL500 if money is a big issue.

when you mean blacked out... just wheels and tint? I am tinting the sides soon. The back window and little windows were already done, think its 15% or 5 its pretty damn dark.


I was thinking of blacking out the taillights and the middle strip on the trunk that lights up... you wouldnt have any pics of that done would ya?

 

Yes, But all badges got the smoke treatment along with the lights. Looking for the pics!

I've driven one before, but I was horribly disappointed. Some years ago I lived in Germany, and cars from way back in the 80s had interiors that were oodles better. There was this cheap plastic door on the center console made to look like wood: Europeans wouldn't put that garbage on their hatchbacks, as Jeremy Clarkson pointed out. If you want a caddy, I recommend either a CTS or a Escalade. Those are the only two cars really worth a darn from them right now.

 

sorry for pop up this old theard but any of you guys know any tuners that has wheels body kits and exhaust system for the XLR. I tried to search but I came up with nothing
