What do you guys think of this build?
I'm pondering whether I want to order or just pick one off the lot in late spring. My main debate is whether to go with Silver (classic, always looks good, easy maintenance but doesn't have as much depth) vs. Gray (probably Slate, but Meteor isn't ruled out).
I'll also probably get the SSK but it wasn't in the configurator. Oh, and sorry for the horrific spacing, I'm trying to fix the editing (cut and pasted it from the porsche web site).

FWIW, when I ordered my car, I went into the dealership thinking I was going to order GT Silver. It's a beautiful color -- subtly different from Arctic Silver but with more depth. I looked at GT Silver, AS, Slate Grey, and Meteor Gray all side by side and decided on Slate Grey. I love it. You can't go wrong with the other colors but if you have a chance to see them all together, one will speak to you and say, "I'm yours!"
Please get red seatbelts instead. It'll go better with your red interior. And don't forget to get the sportshifter option too!!! And also, get the option CDZ - gear shift trim in leather. Although your center console will be carbon, it'd still be a good idea to get this small piece to make it look complete.
It's the small trim piece that connects your shift leather boot to the front leather console. Porsche should have included this but they didn't. They made it an option instead.

I hate to throw more options your way, but if you are willing to spend 140+ you can have "ANY" color you want. My dealer thinks I am crazy for my paint spec but it is the second most important thing nex to the model.

Two drawbacks to "paint to sample" are it can delay the car for months and Porsche usually has an order cut off time of Feb 1st. Other than that, it is a great idea if nothing jumps out at you.
Thanks for the responses guys, I'll definitely rethink the silver seatbelts and probably go with red or black. Gear shift trim, definitely. I'm thinking I'll go with the OEM SSK but I'd like to test drive a car with one first. I've seen the GT silver, slate and meteor side by side and I was leaning toward Slate, just not sure how the red interior would go with it whereas I'm sure red will look great with the GT silver. Unfortunately, not that many cars on the lot have the carrera red to get an idea of how it blends with various exterior colors.
I like my Meteor/Cocoa combination a lot. The OEM SSk is really nice, smooth with very little notchy behavior- I wouldn't get a TT without it. IMO I would opt for more leather instead of cf, leather door finishers and "Turbo" console lid along with seat crests. Esp the leather door finishers are something like $360 vs $2700 for the CF version.
A thought would be to go with deviated carpeting in black? That would definitely give you the needed contrast.
