Not much room between the TT and GT2 to fit in another car IMO.
480hp 997TT < (insert 997TT Turbo S here) < 530 hp GT2

500hp maybe with ? The upcoming Turbo S, if any will be a rip off just like the Cayenne GTS, Special Edt. Caymans etc.. i dont see how a 997TT could be improved .

The Turbo S isn't another car. It's just a turbo, usually with a few options put together...ceramic brakes, engine power kit, etc.

Don't see how the 997TT can be improved? Plenty of room for improvement.

Still have not heard about a new 09 Turbo S 997TT. The 09 977TT DFI model will have approximately 500HP , but exact specifications have not been posted by Porsche.

All this power improvement. Why The turbo has plenty of power. It's just tough to max it out from 1st to 2nd. The turbo's chronic pain-in-the-*** weak-link is the low 6800 rpm rev-limiter. I'd like to see 7600rpm with factory warranty intact. That would make one screaming machine. Would provide extended turbo power in each gear. The way it is now, as soon as you stomp on first, you best be extremely alert to shift or there goes your teeth on the steering wheel. Tuner shops tell me there is no problem with a 7600 rpm chip, i.e., no engine harm, just wonder why Porsche never goes beyond ~6800rpm.

I admit that the specs are only conjecture until the new model is debuted. The increase in HP and gas mileage is based on results of DFI on other models. DFI on the 997tt has been rumored online for awhile and was confirmed by my local dealer where I have left a deposit for my 09 Turbo. I do agree that nothing is certain until Porsche makes the announcement. It has just added to my anxiousness in the wait.

Only problem is that it may no longer come with the GT1 block in 2009. Most likely the M97 block used in the NA 997's. No more dry sump motor : (
