it's time to get new wheels for my 02 996TT...the car is white.....has anyone seen white wheels on white cars? wondering how they'd look...

 

Good friend of mine just got a white 996tt and he has Iforged black center wheels with a chrome lip. Look on the detailing thread and look for 996TT detailed. Looks awesome, but let me tell you he is having the lips powder coated white as we speak, should have some pictures up next week, it is going to look SICK!!! Good luck

 

Never seen it on a Porsche, but Ive done more than a handful of color matched wheels on white vehicles. IMO, it looks amazing.

 

COR wheels do 3 piece forged wheels that they will custom paint.. some really nice wheels .. check out there web site www.corwheels.com it might just give you some other ideas.........

I think it looks killer.

Only downside is that unless you have PCCB, they stay white.....for maybe 15 min or 15 miles.

Do a search for Orli993 I think it is. He had a White 996TT with white wheels.

My Iforged wheels have hyper black centers and are getting white powder coated lips as we speak. As soon as I get them back I'll post pics as they are going on my white 03 996tt

 

It only works on the 996tt if the bottom lips and bottom of the skirts are painted white to match. They come black from the factory :S
