2008 Neiman Marcus Special Edition Hennessey Venom 700NM

Seven hundred horses are comin’ to town! Upscale luxury goods retailer Neiman Marcus Direct has teamed up with John Hennessey’s Hennessey Performance Engineering to bring us a stampede of 700 horses through their spring Neiman Marcus Men's Catalog. And boy do them horses look healthy and sound in that jet black!
"The Venom 700NM offers world-class power,” says John Hennessey, “performance and looks in typical Hennessey style. We are very excited about our new partnership with Neiman Marcus."
Persuaded by the thunderous Dodge Viper SRT-10 engine, the VENOM 700NM musters up a whole 700 bhp/ 522kW and 645lb-ft of massive torque. Figures suggest a 0 – 60 mph time of 3.3 seconds, 0 – 100 mph in 7 seconds and a top end of 214 mph.
A number of special kits are added to the Venom 700NM, including VenomAero Exterior Aerodynamic Upgrades and lightweight alloy wheel upgrade (19x10 inch front; 20x13 inch rear).
Sounds good to you? We thought so. Be a good boy then and put aside USD179,500, which by the look of the US dollar lately, isn’t much. Be quick about it too as only 7 are being made available. If you can make it to the New York Motor Show 2008 even better, 'cause then you can scope out the real deal in the metal.

I totally agree about the wing. Seems weird for Neiman Marcus to be selling Vipers though. I always thought that they tended to sell high-end German cars like Mercedes and BMW when they released special editions.
only other cars I can remember were the Cadi XLR and they did a huge thing w/ the Ford Thunderbird re-release and the M6...what else have they done?
Wow...Neiman Marcus kinda dropped class...It's fast but I dont think it relaly associates with NM name.

It doesn't matter if he's a crook, no one cares. You can rob anyone over the Internet, and in real life, no one will say anything.
Just look at where TX2K8 is being held. I can't believe Peter is supporting the guy's facilities. You can't tell me that all of the gear heads going to TX2K8 don't know about Hennessey's past. But, like I said, no one cares about what Hennessey has done. Not even Neiman Marcus.
