Barcelona Mies Pavilion leather Lounge Chairs BRAND NEW

1 pair of Barcelona Lounge chairs. You know them. They are a must for any modern / contemporary home/loft. However, when we placed them in the Living Room, the polished legs just didn't look right with the cherry wood trim and S. American walnut floors. The leather is a very rich brownish/red. The fit, quality, and most importantly, the leather is very supple and soft. You can get them a bit cheaper, but having seen MANY other reproductions, this one was by far the best, and didn't have that vinyl / plasticy feel. Feel free to PM me to swing by and "audition" them in person. More pics are available upon request, but it would be best to see them in person as my photo skills just don't do them justice...i just wish they would "fit" our room! A furniture manufacturer sold them to us "as a favor" since we purchased 2 custom made peices from them, so needless to say no returns

Would prefer pickup as they would be a bit bulky to ship but would even be willing to wrap them and deliver with my pick up if w/in 25 miles. I'm in the S. Pasadena / San Marino area~ 7 mi. east of downtown Los Angeles. 1 of the chairs was sat on only once when we placed them in the room. The other chair has not been sat on and have therefore, have been priced accordingly. Asking $650 each.

I stumbled across a Barcelona bedroom set I liked very much, are there are specific online retailers I should stay away from when ordering? Also, I searched and couldn't find a brick and mortar dealer, do they exist? I don't mind spending the extra money for a quality set.

If those were black they'd be going in my new townhouse.

Love the floors and finish work in your house. The chairs are beautiful as well, great leather color. You really don't think they go well in your home?

Personally, I don't like shopping for furniture on-line unless I've seen it in person first, and then ordered on-line ie. our Herman Miller office chairs. Here in L.A., there are tons of retail stores where one can sit/touch/feel before purchasing. Also, color in person is slightly different than a photo. So, back to your questions, other than office chairs, I haven't purchased any other furniture online and therefore can't recommend any...sorry.

Thanks for the compliments. The chairs are absolutely gorgeous, they just don't "FEEL" right in the room. As most of the materials and style of our home is of an organic / zen style, they feel a little too contemporary / modern. Until I buy a 3 story glass house in Malibu, these need to be replaced with something else. Plus, the legs are the only polished element in the room.

Chairs look great!! I think what might look nice is a carpet or hide underneath the chairs. This store is in Toronto http://www.weaversart.com/ but you probably have a store like this where you live.

i love these chairs and i want them but right now there is a list of things that i need before that.

Beautiful and great looking in every way. The design is like 100 years old but still so trendy today.

Vival,

I can't send PM's because of post count, but thanks for the advice

I'm really just looking to pick up a modern style bed, and that was one of the very few I liked.
