They look pretty good on either car.

 

It looks better on the 997tt than the Benz IMO. I really felt the OEM wheels had more of a Corvette styling though.

It's a shame because there were some features of the stock wheels that I did like . It was the styling which was the toughest for me .

yep, that's the 2009 merc sl500; more accurately, the pic show the 09 sl65 amg with its standard (997tt look) wheels.
