Pics of my car

I'm a new member here and I wanted to say hello. I'm a car enthusiast and I like how the people in this forum treat each other. Needless to say, I'm a porsche fan. I don't have one, but I want to acquire one (I'm not kidding) after I'm done with school and my wife is done with college. I like both 996's and 997's, but I would love a white 997 GT3. Paying for everything, including a mortgage here in So Cal, is not easy for me.

Here's my "weekend" car. I bought it brand new in 2001 and I have kept it ever since. It may not be my dream car, but it keeps me sane. They are not the best shots, but here goes.

Here's video of my car at the track. I know it's bad footage, but my wife had to keep an eye on my daughter and record this at the same time. It was my daughter's first time watching her dad "race." I hope this is the right video.

1/8th mile is fun, but I would prefer driving on a road course.
Yes, I know I'm slow What can you expect from a 7 year old mustang with stock gears and just a few bolt-ons?

I also enjoy walks on the beach and I am a lot of fun after a dinner and a movie...

I work in the automobile insurance field. If you have a general question regarding claims or underwriting, feel free to PM me. I'll try to Pm as soon as I reach 15 posts. I do not sell insurance.

Try not to bash the newb

Any plans for the GT? I'd say its high time for a supercharger, but that's just me.

I don't think I will get a supercharger anytime soon. I have recently realized that I like driving that car as is. I take long drives whenever possible and I put miles on it without fear. It's a 2001 and it has 94,000 miles on it.

A supercharger would increase the noise and my fuel economy would suffer. I don't street race and driving on a canyon road does not require that much horsepower, so there is no need for a supercharger at this point. Call me Captain Slow if you want.

Proof of my long drives:
