You'll get as many opinions as there are vendors. I have Milltek and am very happy with it. Others are happy with AWE, Tubi, Cargraphic, Fabspeed, etc. Do a search for write-ups on the exhaust systems. However, in the end, you need to go out and listen to them to make sure that you are happy with the sound -- don't rely on youtube clips.

Thumbs up Exhaust

I will have to say I love the sound of my Fabspeed, I just added there BMC airfilter and it's great quality product.

Iam will probly get my Fabspeed tip's ceramic coated satin black next and get a set of muffler bypass pipes also..

Great support from Fabspeed, My other choice was Milltek , but a little quiet and didnt offer the changeability as Fabspeed does...

Gee-Bee

I did ceramic coat my Fabspeed exhaust system ( Satin VBLack ) and designed a silicone seal for the muffler bands ( Strap ) to eliminate wear and against my ceramic coating..

I would go for the following but at the end it falls down to pricing and your budget,

I am interested in the Fabspeed system ( have it on my cayenne good quality), AWE ( Sounds differentiated and very nice, Milltek ( quiet but has a nice deep rumble to it a la 993 like , and FVD ( sounds very sporty and loud).

Fabspeed, Milltek, and AWE are all great choices. I prefer Fabspeed simply because you can use sport cats, cat bypass pipes, and muffler bypass pipes. With everything being interchangeable, its a great system.

i have tried fabspeed as well as milltek. have a switzer system now and it is by far the best in terms of performance gain, sound, quality, and craftsmanship. he is offering a limited time promotion to help get the name out. you can get both the exhaust and headers for $4995 (normally $6550 - $4600 exhaust, $1950 headers). this is a smoking deal!

Thank you for all the replys.

I guess it comes down to really seeing my budget and the sound, I want something loud, but not the overly modified loud, something clean and tastefull but able to work with.

I am leaning towards the Fabspeed, any other suggestion on the next mod? lol

Thx

I would very highly recommend that you take time and listen to the systems "live," not through sound clips. 2 major parameters, loudness and frequency balance (high vs. low frequency), cannot be adequately judged by sound clips as there is no standard of recording, and our computer speakers are grossly inaccurate.
There is no best system, you just have to find one that fits your taste. My review of my favorite, Cargraphic, here: http://www.rennteam.com/showflat.php...&page=0#416268

Gotta love the search police!

With all due respect, who cares if he asks a question that has already been discussed? It doesn't bother me. I like new and fresh perspectives on common issues and questions. Things move so quickly in the motorsports and tuning world that information from just a few weeks ago may be out of date. Things can literally change overnight.

Let the guy ask his question.

Haven't heard many aftermarket ones in person, but some good online videos. I think the cargraphic one sounds best but tubi is awesome too...do a search on youtube for "cargraphic 997 turbo" and "tubi 997 turbo" and you will find some good videos.

+1..."NO" to search police LOL

That is what these forum are for...share info and if you want to help and have relative comments then say something that is relative if NOT...then dont post anything, I think people can make thier own decisions !!!...Some people just dont have time to seat hours and do all searching...

My car has Tubi...I havent heard in person but everytbody says it sounds great...The Race version that just came out sounds insane but may be loud for someone ...

If I where you I would get Switzer package deal, cause its very good offer...If you dont want headers...Then look btw Switzer, Tubi Race or Fabspeed !!! or PM me and may be I can sell you my used Tubi Sport exhaust for good price, which has been on a car for 2k miles... and get Switzer exhaust my self cause I need headers anyways...

Go youtube write 997TT Tubi or AWE or Milltek or Fabspeed or Switzer and you can hear some clips...

Here is some clips for you:

Tubi Race:

Tubi Sport

Cargraphic Loud

Edo Competition

Techart

Milltek

Fabspeed

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqHV8...eature=related

Switzer

Now we can compare them...

Good Luck with your choice and post a sound clip once you get them installed )))
