Intermittent squeal when turning steering wheel...
I'm getting an intermittent high pitched squeal/whistle when turning the steering wheel ONLY LEFT. Had it at the dealer but of course they couldn't duplicate it.

At times it will even do it when I shut off the car and the slight travel that is allowed in the wheel when it's locked. Any ideas?

ESK is infamous around these parts
I had this on my first gen Cayenne TT. I've never heard of it happening on later Cayennes or 997s. Sorry, but it was so long ago I cannot remember the fix (maybe you can do a search of older TSBs on the early Cayennes). I just wanted to confirm that you are not hearing things!
