why? ... there's porsche's, lambo's ferrari's and nobles, lotus's that come

the event is for all european cars, its a free event as well ... i cant imagine any car enthusiast not coming out to appreciate cars

i mean, these are some nice cars, even if some of them arent high end enough for a Porsche owner, as lowly as a Aston Martin or Noble and Audi R8 is

I think it looks like a cool event. And what better than to spend the day in San Diego - my old stomping grounds!

One reason why this may be a tough sell for those of us in Orange County, however, is that each Saturday we have the Cars & Coffee gatherings in Irvine that feature nearly 500 super-cars each week.

But if I were local San Diego, North County or Inland I would definitely attend!

Good luck with this event. I know how hard it can be to pull this stuff off.

Yes, 500+ cars every weekend and it is 2 miles from my house. SD is a great place. May have to check this one out. They have a 1/8 run on Friday nights there.

Unfortunately this is exactly why Porsche owners have a bad reputation. Very snobby comment. VWs and Audis are nothing to be 'embarrassed' about. In fact, a few years ago I had a GTI that would run circles around your 997 all day long (I'm assuming thats your car in the avatar). Just my $.02.

Show looks fun, wish I could make it.

Pete

I bet a solid percentage of true P-car enthusiasts started with VWs and Audi's and BMWs and would love to see some of those rides even if they aren't quite as nice as their own... If I didn't have plans I'd love to go. Had a Jetta 1.8T with KO4s that I loved and still miss.
