Giac flash = No cruise?

My first 997tt flash rendered my cruise control usesless. Just got the chip flashed and into my 997tt cab and now cruise doesn't work in it either!

Anyone else have this? Waiting for a response from Stephen at Imagine - perhaps he's heard of it before.

The buyer of your car didn't observe this?

I told the buying dealer, not sure if the new owner knows. I used the cruise one time and it didn't work and it happened to be after the conversion so who knows what caused it. I have yet to use the cruise after driving the TT for a year now...but for that matter I'm not sure I know if the radio works.

If you never have an engine problem, then obviously no. If you do have a problem the dealer may say it was caused by changing the engine parameters with the flash and deny any warranty. This has been discussed ad nauseum and until (or if) something actually happens to the engine, you'll never know - just be prepared for the dealer (or more likely PCNA) to say no warranty.
