Congratulations! I think you missed the shifter/handbrake with your deviated stitching.
Deviated Stitching Post (see The Groom's comments)

What color Alcantara are you going with?

Did you get a 2009 order guide or pricing yet?

Congrats, sounds very similar to mine with yellow deviating stiching except I went with Basalt instead of flat Black, I'm hoping Basalt will be easier to maintain.

Beautiful combination - BUT

DAW - which is the only way (at least it was for 2008) to get stitching on the shifter, handbrake, and gear lever trim in leather (CDZ) conflicts with 803 (carbon package). Unfortunately there is no way, from the factory, to get carbon shifter & brake and also get deviated stitching on them. I had to make that choice and decided to forgo the carbon shifter and brake in order to maintain the continuity of the deviated stitching on the shifter, brake and CDZ. I then ordered the trim strip in carbon from the dealer and had it added.
There have been a lot of posts showing cars with stitching and without DAW and it looks like a glaring error was made. Just my 2cents.

Have to agree here, DAW is must have option when doing deviating stiching, it happens to be very expensive in my opinion, over $2k, but to have the whole interior stiched yellow and to have the shifter boot and brake handle stiched grey looks terrible.

Congratulations, that is a quick order to delivery time frame. It took mine almost 9 months to arrive after the order. Sounds like a very nice build. Have fun with the anticipation and mod planning!!!

congrats; but dont be afraid to call the dealer every day. I have had an 08 on order for 7 months (paint to sample). Maybe I will see it in June or july but it is still an 08. I would definately question the dealer about the model year. Hope it all works out for you. Love to see pics.

I did have to get DAW and pay the 2100 for the stitched boot. CF will be installed after market.
dark grey alcantara seat centers and door side panels.
I went with flat black since it looks better clean.
My RS4 is metallic and its nice when dirty, but the A8 is flat and when next to each other there is no comparison IMO.
My dealer will have the 09 info in 4 weeks, my car is in the system.
The price increase is 2.8% from last year and there are only 300 TT's coming to the USA for 09 due to the stellar economy
I am still hearing PDK is a mid-year change, but nothing concrete at this time.
I guess I should start looking at wheels.
HRE or Champion black with yellow caps or stripe should be nice.
Thanks for the help! I do appreciate it!

Thanks for the info. I am getting rid of my Phantom RS4 in July and hoping my 997TT (also in the system) will arrive soon after. I think non-metallic black was a great choice - I almost spec'd a car very close to yours but after four black cars in a row I decided on white for a change of pace.
