TT cab Question

My friend is getting a TT cab this week. He says that they will produce the TT cab ONLY for the year 2008. Is this true?

Not sure I understand the question. Plenty of both Cabs and Coupes have been built for the model year 2008 already. Did you mean model year 2009? If so, I haven't heard anything different for next year either. Should be Cabs and Coupes both. Only heard there would be less TT's coming to the US in the new model year.

I sure haven't heard that rumor. As far as I know orders are being taken for '09 Cabs as we speak.

I never heard this either . It would be very unusual for Porsche to launch a 997tt cab for only one model year.

That is what our dealer told him. It might be so. The 996 TT cab was only made in 04 and 05. This info forced him to get rid of his TT coupe and into the cab. He was afraid that by the time his lease was up on the coupe he wouldn't be able to get a new tt cab.

Anyone else know?
