Particular dealer in FL showing an '08 GT2, asking 299k.

Certified PRE owned, 52 miles.

Must have been some joy ride. You must be kidding.

You would have to be brain dead to pay $299K. I think it will depreciate $200K in 2 years.

With all the $xxk you see that number doesn't do anything to me, but that's TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND $$$... Quite an asset

Yeah that's Braman...and they have not one but TWO at that price. I was there within the last month looking at an '07 they had for sale and had a chance to check out the GT2s. I'm assuming they still haven't sold either, but they do have some heavy rollers coming in there, so they just might. BTW, the clutch in the GT2 is incredibly stiff...like doing a leg press with a 150 lb weight. Seems like it would be very tough to drive on the street and definitely not a daily driver, obviously.

Checking on Autotrader, there's also a dealer in New Jersey asking the same $299k for either of 2 GT2's that he has in stock (also a black and a white). Must be an epidemic of delusional behavior. Also, saw some other dealers with prices in the $265-$270 range. Meanwhile, a friend of mine talked to a dealer in Texas and he was offered an allocation for sticker price. Seems like a wide range of opinion on how to value these beasts.

PbPedis is infamous around these parts
Think of how quick you could make a TT for that kind of dough. Do some suspension mods, lighten it a bit and you've got a great track car. I wouldn't pay that amount for a GT2 even if it were pocket change for me. It's just not *that* good.

Go ask the GT-R guys...they'll tell you the same thing
