So I met up with my friend yesterday morning, to show me his new 09 SL 63 and I brought my turbo. We both notice how similar the turbo and the new AMG wheels looked. After looking at the both very closley we both think there the same wheel.

 

they are VERY similar indeed.

U mean like this? I just put this together.

You can tell the differences are very subtle but the wheels will look identical to a regular guy.

I sadly concur. It does look better on a SL.

I think the turbo looks better with a mesh wheel.

 

I agree also, look way better on the SL.

 

I wouldn't be surprised that the wheels are made in the same factory.

 

You have infos about this, or is just a guess?

 

Its funny how when the turbo came out people knocked both the wheels and the exhaust tips designs. But slowly but surely you are seeing that those design elements are being copied by other manufacturers.
