Agree. The stock airbox is sufficient. It's whether or not you can resist that look when you open up and see the engine compartment!!

I consider it an 'exterior' mod rather than a performance mod. Ask Tym his opinion since he's doing your car (and mine )

I'd love to see before and after dynos on this mod. If it had some performance gains to go with those killer looks it would push me to purchase.

Yes with stock set up...but with our may BE some extra power to be released...we are still thinking about it...


Anyone tested on Moded car with IPD plenum or woth 700 kits ???

 

ipd do additional power but the werks does nothing ...

You might squeeze a couple hp with the power levels youre gonna be making, but not many if any at all. It sure does look great though! Are you getting the IPD plenum on your car?

 

Nope...Tym made his own one which he didnt want to make yet but he went over his head and did it along with somthing else )))...he didnt see much HP increase with IPD plenum...

So we think now that we need every bit of extra AIR FLOW and WERKs 1 Airbox with our set up might be worths a lot more HP at higher speed with decklip close cause we are going to modify something *** well to let it breath even better...but it wont dyno with much increase with decklip open...


So I am looking for a best deal on Werks 1 Airbox ...anyone ???

 

You will get better flow with a GT2 decklid...

I heard that it looks good but till this day there is no dyno results showing any loss or gain in hp.
