Very pleased with Nitto Invo's

As soon as i ordered my Volks in February i started looking for tires. I read a few threads on the Invo's but they seemed to be filled with more speculation and babbling than anything else.

I have had previous experience with the KDW's, PS2's, and T1R's (also a few others but these are the top of what i used for street tires).

If you look at my mods, i did not end up with a very street friendly car. Solid mounts, open wastegate, etc... I never really gave thought to road noise and feel since the last tires i've used were the KDW's and were very noisy and rough compared to these.

The Nitto Invo's to my surprise have actually matched the street performance of the tires mentioned above (from personal driving style and habit with the power i have). Where some of there tires did not perform well in the rain and others wore out too fast. I actually enjoy cruising in the car again and will start driving the car more often.

I am not one of those people who looks for too much refinement and have sacrificed most of my ride quality for performance (suspension, etc...), but this has really made the largest difference in my car since the power upgrades. I never imagined tires alone would have made such a difference. The price is also very nice and makes having great tires really affordable.

Using a 245 35 19 on a 19 x 9.5 wheel

Here are a few pics:

These are going to be the only tires i use from now on. If anyone is on the fence about these tires, i would highly recommend purchasing a set of these.

I hope this helps clear up some of the questions i have read about these tires.

Thanks for the review. It is always good to know we have choices that work well with our cars.

I keep hearing great things about this tire brand, but their sizes are somewhat limited for the bigger boys!

They offer little for larger Ferrari sizes unfortunately.

They also make a 305/30/19 as well for 11" applications.

Now that's interesting but iForged is making 12" rims for me now so that knocks that size out! I am going to try a 325/30-19 Pilot Sport Cup!

I am not overly crazy about 19" rims so 20" is out of the question!

I do not want bicycle tires on my car!

I guess... I would assume most people use those tires/wheels for street and mostly show.

I would hope most people would get the proper tires/wheels and tires for track use. Or use the proper tires/wheels if they plan to drive very aggressively very often.

i have 255/35/20 and 285/30/20 sizing on these Invo's and couldn't be happier.

great traction and tire design. noise level is very minimal

haven't tested in rainy conditions yet, but hopefully they will perform well as with dry condition

I would contact them and tell them your interest. If there are other similar requests they will act on it.

Try: NittoTech@nittotire.com

Michelin made the ZO6 tire for Goodyear under the Goodyear label. It's 325/30-19. They had so many requests for this by Corvette owners that they, last September, offered that size in the Pilot Sport Cup series, and I bought a full set. This is a dead on replacement for the OEM 360/430 rear tire, and it's used on the GT2.

Now I am hounding them for the same size in the PS2 series. Pessure gets results.

Upon hearing good things about Nitto, I contacted them, and I am impressing upon them the application for this size.

They have a 345/30-19 which fits, I believe, the Viper, but it's not close enough for the 360 etc.

Try contacting Nitto.

The Nitto INVO tires are great IMO. With the help of HRE they made special offset wheels for my Audi RS4 and I ran 285/30/19 Nitto INVO's.
I loved them. Excellent dry and wet weather grip. Best of all is the price. They are a fraction of Michelin PS2's.
I dare say the INVO's are as good and save me $700.

Cheers,

Ranger

I keep hearing this and I'd love to try them if they made an adaptable size for me.

AND it's not the price difference with the PS's; it's having a worth while alternative.

I just spent $2,300.00 on the PS Cups. I'd like to have an option that gives a bit more tread and tread life than do the Cups.
