great thanks. the last page of the guide says it is page 1 of 22. all i can see is page 1. am i doing something wrong?
on your replacement PCM cover, how is it replaced? i was thinking of ordering the aluminum look one for $400 instead of the $2,000 one from the factory.

Wow...it's a lot of work...need to remove PCM, pull the face off, take out all the buttons...etc. Not for the faint of heart.

i just wanted to get the aluminum look on the pcm and not pay $2,000. i dont like the stock look.

SoCal, let the file load. Last page is 22 of 22.
PCM painting is something we do quite often, but does require some trim removal expertise. Do NOT turn this over to a dealer who 'thinks' they know what to do - I can relate horror stories. Some dealers know how to handle this, some don't. Ask first. Each head unit in the stack comes out, the face is separated from the unit, then all the interior buttons are removed.
Email me and I'll send you specific guidelines and info, along with pictures, so you can have a better idea of how we achieve this:

sounds very complicated, not for me to do for sure. i wonder if there is anyone in So Cal who can handle this. maybe i am just destined to pay $2,000 from porsche or just keep the stock one. i do like the look of the black paint now.

"The deadline for submission of Model Year 2009 Paint to
Sample orders will be approximately February 01, 2009."
Most of us thought that the MY2009 production run would be very short, ending in December of January, with the face-lift MY2010 appearing very early in 2009. I wonder if this supports the notion that the face-lift may be arriving a bit later?
