2009 Camaro: 416HP V8 coming in Sep.
I'm not really into American Muscle but a good friend of mine recently gave me his 2010 Camaro allocation. This is one of the first in line with a September delivery date. It is the fully loaded version with the 416 hp 6.2-liter V8 engine.
I'm actually entertaining the idea of buying the car and trying it out. Maybe I will like it.
Anyone else ordering this car?
Any thoughts? Is this a high-demand car? My son wants me to buy it so bad because it is the "BumbleBee" car from Transformers. I don't think the one on order is yellow however. I will have to double-check.

Yup. And it looks like even the base V6 will have 296 horsepower.
Full OFFICIAL information will be released late Monday.

I am considering one. I want the Z28 with the ZR1 motor 550HP. Theres alot of conflicting stories as to whether there going to build a Z28 with this much power. The SS model with 430HP isn't getting it for me. How can they build this car and not have a Z28 model.

not paying much attention to any domestic cars other than the ZR1
i had seen some drawings, but no actual pics yet. i suppose i just should just google some up and see for myself.
honestly i was really hoping they would something fresh, like they did with the GTO.
i like the old styles, and really appreciate the classic cars. not unlike most movies out these days, it would great to see something we haven't seen before though. don't get me started on the movie thing, i am so over the weak sequels produced solely to make cash.....
i just don't see the point of having a new car that looks like an old car. i like the old cars, because they are old. there's a certain charm to four wheel drum brakes, carbs, bench seats, and crank windows
i'd take a 68 camaro over anything detroit will produce these days.
i found a pic while typing this. it looks good, but i'll take the original please.

The mustang appears to be evolving a bit.
