Great Early Morning Run In The OC July 26, 2008

Robert and a few of us - mainly heavily modded Turbos (997TT and 996TT) - had a sweet early morning run today in the OC. There was also one of the nicest Lambo LP640 roadsters I have seen. It was some CRAZY stuff man. Now I know why people blur out their license plates when posting on the Internet.

Thanks Robert for inviting us. Oh, and I did finally figure out the radio problem - a bit too late though. Forgive us rookies!

The ONLY thing I'd change about that Lambo is contrasting white leather pieces in the interior Mmm, more pictures in general?

Make sure you right click on the videos and save them to you desktop to view. The videos are large so give them a few minutes to download.

You car is so quick in first gear. I usually get the first jump, but your 997TT is very quick.

I have a lot of torque - over 500 ft lbs to the wheels - at around 2500 rpms. The car just rockets in first and second. You caught me pretty nicely once we got into the higher gears though.

The Promotive Turbo was quite impressive indeed. By far the fastest car in the group.

Here is a short clip of me trying to hold my own against the LP640 and the Promotive.

Remember, I had a passenger and was running on pump gas - and the tank was FULL (I know, excuses, excuses). I need more practice!!
