Excellent Tune from TPC Racing

I just got my TT back from TPC Racing in Jessup, Maryland. There are a lot of good tunes out there, and good shops, but TPC is excellent. I attached a dyno from my car with 3 different tunes, stock, brand X and TPC. The car has Fabspeed Exhaust and CAI. 483 HP at the wheels, and Mike at TPC tells me the tune is still conservative and he can get another 25 HP. The best thing about the tune is that it keeps pulling at high RPM. The other tunes got flat at higher RPM. The car feels smoother than with the other tunes, the dyno shows smooth power all across the RPM range with no spikes. The car feels awsome and a joy to drive. TPC also gave me a little black box to use to put the stock tune back in if needed.

TPC is a great place to get an type of work done on a Porsche. They are racers and know how to set up a car. I'm thinking about their suspension package and larger turbos but the wife said I already overspent my limit for this year.

As I said, there are a lot of good tunes and shops out there and I am not saying anything negative about any of them.

Mike suggested suspension work, shocks and his front end stuff. Actually, he doesn't want to give me more HP untill I upgrade the supension.

What did you do? I use my car as a daily driver, I don't expect it to ride smooth, but I don't want to make it a complete race car.

How is the ride in normal driving? How do you like the handling? Thanks

I assume that with their expertise, they won't have any troubles putting in an EVT700 kit?

they will have no problems installing your EVT700 kit.

I sent my car to Mike for his turbo kit and he put on his sway bar kit and toe links too. I mentioned the new creaks and clunks and said something like it was a small annoyance for the better handling.

How much HP are you getting? Using his tune?
I rode in his TT and didn't hear clunks, maybe he changed something. I have had cars with stiff bushing and got tired of all the noises.

Sounds great TPC is one of the best shops going. TPC, TRG, GMG and Farnbacherloles are Porsche racing shops that are significantly better than your average tuner. They are all currently running in the top ranks of the Rolex series. You pay for the name, but it's worth it imo.

I got 408 hp on 5.5 lbs of boost to the wheels on his dyno...but I’ve got a Cayman. His setup includes a single modified Garrett turbo and a bunch of other stuff.
