Thanks guys. We're evacuating this morning with all the family cars today, including my TT. We live on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain so we hope to be OK, but we're not taking any chances. Say a prayer or two.

We ended up not evacuating. Sunday morning the reports started showing Gustav weakening at it came across the Gulf. Waited all day and watched it and by the afternoon made the decision to stay home and watch it here. Winds here on the north shore here are gusting maybe to 35 mph. Not even first gear in the TT! So far Gustav is pretty much a non-event for the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. Much uglier down on the coast.

 

I am in Baton Rouge and we decided to stay.

So far so good, but keep us all in your prayers.
