Nice White 997TT in NJ

Anyone know this car? Looks very well done. Except for the high miles and perhaps the wheels, I am really digging the car. Price isn't bad either. Your thoughts?

really like the body work and deck spoiler. not sure i'm feeling the interior (random red seat belts with no other red accents) or rims.

as a fellow jersey guy, you'll probably know you can't tint front windows. So registration will be a problem unless you can get it registered out of state

997 should be reliable, i wouldn't worry about miles, good way to get a discount.

Nicely done except for the red belts. Someone drove the thing alot to have 22K +, so it would need a FINE going over and a really low price IMO.

Nice color and the lower panels look great. I don't mind the red seatbelts, but not crazy about the wheels - but that can easily be changed! I know lots of TT owners who put alot of miles on their cars - I wouldn't worry about that - these cars are not meant to be garage queens, they are meant to be driven and enjoyed.

Get the mechanics checked out thoroughly! I could be wrong, but when low rent, secondary county road, dealerships are selling a car of this caliber … I just get a little suspicious. I know it says no bodywork, but get that checked too. I don’t mean to disparage those dealers, but a high performance vehicle (like that one), doesn’t find it’s way to those dealers without a bad story.
A great inspector is the greatest insurance against a great big mistake. Good luck.

Thanks to all for the reply. I am just curious how I would go about doing an inspection? Do I hire a Porsche mechanic and take him with me?

Make an appointment at New Country over in Rye. Have them take the car over. Speak directly with the service manager and tell him you want a ppi. You also want the used car guy there to go over it with the paint meter to ensure there is no paintwork, anywhere.

Not feeling the wheels or the side skirts. The driver seat has scratches in the leather and one of the exhaust tips is siting in farther then the other. Must have a aftermarket exhaust. Cheap price but a lot of miles. I do like the interior....
