Car is going into body shop in Monday to do the grill, tails and emblems. My KWv3's are on their way. A+ to all the vendors who helped me get these wheels and tires on the car before the winter comes here in NY. My original HRE Monoblock's that I got from WB were the wrong offset. Ben immediately took them back in exchange for a set of my choice. I think I made a good choice with the 790's, since as sexy as the Mono wheel is.....it's popping up everywhere. Ben and the guys at WB - A+++...best vendor I have dealt with. Guy at HRE - Awesome communication and getting the wheels to me. Demo & Rob - Run Staten Island's car scene..possibly all of NY's. Got me the sticky Vredstein tires. Look at all the pics..

 

Not really a fan of the black lip (blends in with the tires imo) but otherwise the wheel choice is great.

paint them all blackkkkkkkkkkkkkk , even though im sure in person it looks much better i love black lip in person , also that side light thingy has to be painted white for a cleaner look

 

I really like the C63 and I really liked the pictures you posted of the wrong offset wheels (minus the obvious wrong offset). But I have to be honest, I think the black lip looks absolutely atrocious! It makes the car look extremely cheap and makes the tires look huge.

That's just my opinion. If you like it, props!

 

Can you post some specs of the wheel?

Sick rims and car but I agree with the others, paint the wheels black. The lip blends into the tire and makes the overall wheels look smaller.

 

im not a big fan of the black lip. if that was polished it would look crazy!!!!!!

 

Listen..this is a heavy car...around 4000lbs...when the car is moving, the suspension sits and it looks PERFECT. It's more of a "you need to see it in person"...

 

I'm happy to hear everything worked out well for you. I remember reading the post about your monos and I could certainly feel your pain.

I think the wheels look great and agree, "need to see it in person"...as most parts with black on cars are.

Good luck, wheels look great and you picked perfect color for the car, if you ever get tired of the look you could always change lip color or inner wheel color. Keep up the modding!

 

yeah I think eventually I will do all black with a White Pinstripe..or white lip with black face after this winter is over.

 

black with a white pinstripe would probably look really good! All black would look good too!
