Putnam Park - 1/2hr W of Indy. Great track for beginners - lots of runoff everywhere. Very similar to Gingerman in South West, MI

Mid Ohio - fun track. Not lots of runoff but still a safe track.

Bluegrass Motorsports - 20min S of Cincinnati. Opens April 11. Exactly 17 miles from my driveway.

Road America is fun, however I’d much prefer Gingerman over RA. Gingerman was more technical that RA. The race lines at RA are a bit obvious compared to Gingermans.

All tracks have their unique interesting qualities, which is why it is fun to do various tracks. Especially as your seat time increases, much more can be learned by visiting different tracks.
But Road America is the the best.

The best - without a doubt - Road America
Gingerman is really fun track too, but it is not even in the same league...

So many: The reason why I still live here. A trip to RA is worth the drive for you.

Blackhawk Farms - Rockford IL
Road America - Elkhart Lake WI
Gingerman - SW MI
Autobahn CC - Joliet IL
Putnum - West Indy

Mid-Ohio..........Hard to get right, but very rewarding when you do.
Road America if you are looking for speed.

Nothing beats elevation changes in my mind.
