WTB - Bose QuietComfort QC2 Headphones

Anyone got a set they no longer use?

Might consider QC3 but my feeling is the over-ear design would be better.

Chris.

Make sure you get the wheely bag with retractable handle to complete the look.

Shure SE530 sound far better and you won't look like a salesman from Des Moines or a frustrated father who just parked the minivan and is bringing the kids to Disney.

Amazon has a good price on em too.

Consider looking at the jvc noise cancelling headphones. They are 1/2 the cost and do a great job. Bose is popular because of their marketing and tend to be a bit pricey. I own a pair of jvc and they are lightweight and do a good job getting rid of environmental noise.

I got a set of QC3's, they're good but not $350 good, I'm going to return them and try a set of Shure earbuds for now.

If you like earbuds, you are going to get the most noise cancelling as they will cancel A LOT of noise just my sealing in your ear canal. If they are uncomfortable for you, i purchased the set below and they worked extremely well and sounded good at the same time.

They have over the ear also if you look at the related products (I beleive the 500's are them). Unfortunately, they have the larger control module that is a little clumsy.

I have shure ear buds, bose qc2's, and ive tried bose qc3's extensively. Imo, you cant really compare even the best ear buds to the qc2's.

I guess you've never used Ultimate Ears products...They must suck since almost all touring musicians use them (don't remember last time Bose could claim that).

Ah yeah UE's, ive tried those too... returned them. When I say you can't really compare, I purely meant the feeling of a nice set of noise cancelling off the ear headphones as opposed to something that sticks in your ear.
