Sub-$100k 997 Turbo

Could this be the first? Mileage is a little high, but sure is a great price.

I am in the market for a low mileage '07 in the low $100k range. If anyone is getting out or will be trading up to an '09, please let me know. My preference is any shade of silver/grey with stone grey interior, tiptronic. Thanks!

Thanks LIL RAJA! Seen this car, not a bad deal. Little higher mileage than I want and would prefer private party since we don't pay pre-owned sales tax in AZ.

You already getting out of your 997?

The Tip is likely a factor in the price.

Don't think so...I think it is where the market is headed for '07's. Plus Tip is a $3500 option over and above manual.

Did you see the vendor who couldn't get rid of his for $105,000 with decent mileage, full kit, wheels & exhaust?

market is melted (can't even call it soft) for luxury goods.

2 6speeders sold their 997s for low 103/105 both were v low miles - under 7k i think. One had significant upgrades! 99k for a 20k mile car doesnt seem that great relative to the others that were available recently, and the market has only gotten worse. bid real low see what happens, I bid almost 13% off a reasonable asking price on a 07 F430 with delivery miles and the dealer still wants to talk. I am considering ordering a new 09 F430 though.

Wow! Makes me almost feel bad that I paid 115K last month for a low mileage (less than 3K) 07 TT.

Almost. Until I get in and drive it every day.

I like the attitude! Drive em enjoy em...no hindsight on the purchase prices! besides look at it this way, if you kept that 115 in the market you would have lost even more! and this way you have your TT.

here are the forums i mentioned:

There are people who need to unload and there are people who don't. Market price is driven by need at the moment and not want.

TIP is definately a factor. The option has no bearing as it has been proven by options such as CF, Leather this and Leather that. Those options which raised the MSRP over the 126K have Zero value in trade and almost no value in resale. Personal options outside of 6speed, Sports Chrono, and LSD do not make the car better in resale. Look around and it is true.

The HiLine Sale in Atlanta today was incredibly weak. I saw two 997 Turbos - one with 1k miles and the other with 4k miles - either could have been bought for under 100k. The Grey Turbo with 4k miles even had 20" HRE's and could have been bought for 95k....they didn't sell it....highest bid was 91k.

I'd probably add PCCBs to the list. You'll probably recover 20-30% of the cost of purchasing PCCBs, versus 0% for things like leather covered PCM (which looks really really really nice.)

And another one...This seems to be a smoking deal! Sorry if the link does not work. If not, just go to cars.com and look up '07 997 under $100k. This car is pretty well equipped with only 14,900 miles for $96,900.

One more for $92,000...

^^^^^^^ That is a pretty good deal from a Porsche dealer.

Check this one out at $92,000. Things must be tough out there.
