Custom Installed Escort Radar

I thought I would post this for my fellow 6speeders because I thinks it looks great. Tell me what you think? I never liked radar detectors hanging off the windshield.

That is very discreet & looks good too. If you don't mind me asking who installed this for you? If I'm interested, would he be able to do something like this for me & ship it out?

Looks great. Is the "mounting plate" something your installer made himself or is it available somewhere. I already have 9500ci installed, but would be interested in getting that mounting plate.

Custom Sounds in San Antonio Texas installed the escort and made that custom piece so it is not something that is sold off the shelf. The install is really clean and has factory installed look to it.

I'd like to call them about making a custom plate for me. Which one of the four San Antonio locations did your work? A contact name would be helpful too.

Thanks

The escort seems to work good. I like the direction feature on the V-1 radar but other than that it works great. I did not want the radar hanging from the windshield on my car. Plus the radar starts up with the car and I do not need to deal with the cords from the windshield radar.

I had my V1 remote located there in the below radio pocket, but the unit was a little
too much the side
and too far down from your forward line of sight. I had to mount the remote
on the top of the steering column where I didn't have to take my eyes off
the road when arrows lit up or to tell what type of band was coming in.
Where is the sensing unit that picks up the radar? On the rt visor?? And the
outside laser sensor, post a photo where located.

The units on mounted on the rear license plate and the front intakes. The laser on the left and right intake and the radar in the middle.
