EVOMSit installed, now I am happy.

Last night I had the guys at Stuttgart install the evo software on my Turbo. As usual the service / installation was excellent with thorough explanations of the entire process, what was changed, how its done etc. essentially answering all my questions and more regarding the flash.

Just giving my initial impressions as I drove it straight home (the long way) but managed to get some short blasts in. Essentially I can sum it up as explosive power. First gear goes by so fast its not even funny in a shriek of punishing acceleration. 2nd and third gear pull is vastly improved from way down low in the rev range. It feels like boost hits much earlier and stays that way, its almost shocking the difference vs. stock.

The car overall feels how I expected a Turbo to feel from the factory, I was a bit dissapointed when I took delivery but now thats all a distant memory.

With PSM off and if shes not pointed straight it makes for some exciting acceleration runs...tried that once and quickly turned that $hit back on.

Thats the same way I felt after I had my ECU done. Dump some 100 octane in the tank and its even better.

What EVOMS kit did you get? How does it drive around in traffic? How are your stock brakes and suspension now with the new power?
Enjoy!

I absolutely love mine too. I don't know if you got the 700 but it really made a huge jump in power gains for my car . I still find the stage 3 clutch a bit tricky but I am getting better with practice . I don't drive the car daily so for me it's a special event when I do.

while I am no poster child for the CHP I dont drive it hard enough on the street to outperform the brakes. The stock reds are good brakes and more than capable of stopping this thing on the street.

Not seen the track yet but I would assume you would be harder on the brakes with greater entry speeds but nothing a pad and fluid swap would not fix at this level of the game (580hp)...assuming you can drive the car to its fullest to begin with, I know I cant so not worried about that just yet.

I do believe its a wise move to fix the crap stock suspension before adding power, she was a handful before the springs, sways and good alignment with stock power.

Did the exhaust a few months back @ RSS, GMG springs and sways installed few months back also.

Today paid a bit more attention, hitting 17 lbs per factory gauge.

I got same ECU for the TT and love it but I'm getting check engine light all the time which really bother me. What kind of exhaust do you have ?
