ImagineAuto is now flashing EVOMSit

Gang,

<O</OI thought I would let you know that we are no longer going to be offering the services of GIAC. If you have purchased this software from us and need help please contact me as I will put you in contact with GIAC directly.

<O</OAs far as the services we offer, we are still able to flash on location and in house. We have the equipment and the means to do this. What else can we do....the sky is the limit. We are now able to truly custom tune your car for your needs and our builds. We feel that the possibilities are now endless.

<O</OIf anyone has specific questions (I am sure most have been beat to death) please contact me directly and I will do my best to answer them. If you have a specific file request please call me to discuss or special needs. I am always around!<O</O

Stephen, I read through your blog at imagineauto.wordpress.com...

Do you have the capacity to program in things like a 1st gear rev limiter for a two step launch control?

Bob, would you please explain what a 2 step launch control is and why you need a 1st gear rev. limiter?
TIA

Bobby would that be a REV the Throttle and Push the Clutch In ( Both Feet ) and then have the secondary rev limiter be lower than the OEM limiter for LC?

Noice...

You got it Khanh...

Can...two step is not really launch control. But it does simplify the launch. Push in clutch, mash on accelerator. Revs are limited to preset fuel shut off levels. Tach will bounce off your preset, say 3K RPM, and then, feather out the clutch. Clutch engages, foot is already mashing on the accelerator...away you go!

Stephen...any ability to control boost pressure doing this?

Does upgrading the ECU make the sport button obsolete, meaning will the software take care of all boost needs? Btw, I don't have the sport boost option, so I guess my question is, with all other things being equal, what would be the difference between an EVOMSit upgrade with a sport boost vs one without asport boost?

PS I'll be sending you my ECU for the upgrade (which I already purchased) after the holidays. I already received the exhaust system. Excellent service. Thank you.

I can program it either way. It just depends on what you want. For example on my car I have the TQ request a little higher than sport mode in non sport mode. Which means that my car with the EVO turbos is faster in non sport and more aggresive than most. Compared to the old program I picked up nearly 50HP under the curve as compared to the sport mode verses non sport mode. All about drivablity

Point being is I can make that sport button do what you want and if you don't have it make your car do what it couldn't do in sport even if you had it. Choices choices.

Thanks Stephen. I'll leave it up to you since I know it will be in good hands. I like hearing about the last option you described a lot. Basically, you can save a couple grand by not getting the sport chrono package and use it towards a much better ECU system. I'll be in touch later about tuning parameters that would best work for me.
