FS Head Up! Nikon D80 + 50mm f1/8 + Case

Quick heads up, when I get home tomorrow my D90 should be there so I'll be selling my D80, probably with the 50mm f/1.8 prime lens and a Lowepro Slingshot SW100 camera bag. If anyone has questions in advance feel free to get in touch.

I may list it on ebay with Buy It Now then anyone who buys it can get 25% cash back courtesy of Microsoft, makes for a nice discount!

Phone is awesome, would be better if the wife hadn't stolen it!

I'll sell the lens on its own if I sell the body first otherwise I think it has more appeal as a package.

I was thinking I'd list it on ebay for $750 or so as with 25% cash back you would get it for $562.50.

Can you explain this cash back thing from MSFT? I've heard something about it before but don't know any details. Thanks.

All you do is find something you want on eBay, it needs to be buy it now and use the standard paypal checkout.copy the description copy the item description then open a new browser and go to live.com, paste in the description and search. You should see a link at the top of the search results to eBay with the cashback logo. Follow the link and buy your item with paypal. The payment screen will show the cashback amount, after buying you get a message to open your cashback account and after 60 days you can transfer the money to your paypal account. You can do this 12 times in a year, 25% each time for up to $200 per transaction.

Basically if you made 12 $800 purchases you would get $2400 back. I was skeptical but my cashback is sitting in my account waiting to clear and I know lots of others who have used this.

Great way to get some lenses cheap, just check with the seller first that they us the standard paypal checkout.

Just make sure the final screen before you purchase shows your cashback, if it does you should be all set.

Here is a quick picture of the D80 body (click to enlarge), Nikkor 50mm f/1.8, strap, charger etc. The camera bag is not pictured, I will include your choice of either a Lowepro AW100 Slingbag or a Nikon top loading camera bag.
