Hey Moe.

I'm kinda confused. Are you a dealer looking to sell the car or a future owner sharing your joy?

We deal with a broker and I try and move unique cars for him whenever possible.

That's interesting. Is the order confirmed? According to Porsche, no GT2's for 09 in North America?

Then I guess they are making a small batch for 09. What a pity... I was hoping they would cease production.

I have friends in low places too. That's why I got one of the first cars in California

I think I've seen some go below list. Not sure if they're with no miles or pre-owned. I think the GT2 will definilty be a collector and even in today's market, MSRP is a good value. It truly is an amazing porsche.

i agre with you moe-it is as noteable as some of the truely exotic cars of our time (enzo, etc.). i was just down in west palm a few weeks ago where the dealer had a new gt2-he thought that he was going to get 10 over list, but thinking and getting is 2 different things. just a few months ago, some dealers were looking for 40-50 grand over-i wouldn't want to be one of the people who paid anything close to that-same is now happening with vette zr1, where some dealers are looking for a ton over list-i think that just won't last. same with nissan gt-r-do you know if they have come down to list yet?

I have seen some as low as "$5K over old MSRP"-- since new MSRP now $6-7K higher, that nets out to less than MSRP on a new car you could order now.

In general, however, I think you're still looking at $10K over for now. Agree that this won't last long.
