I did end up returning it, but I was looking to see if anybody wanted to save $500.

I got the computer for a good price and was just passing down the savings.

No hijack intended, since the item is sold, but:

If anyone is interested, I have a MacBook Pro 15" Previous Gen. for sale, bought from a 6Speeder in October 08, Original sale date June 08 ). I bought the new generation 12" in November and this one is sitting in its original packaging at my office.

It has been used very little, very minor case wear and a small 1/8" scratch on the Matte screen at the middle right edge (bought it that way).

AppleCare voided due to minor leftside water damage over the holidays. I have the receipt for left I/O port and keyboard being replaced by TekServe, NYC authorized factory Apple repair. Apple wanted $1400 to re-certify a $300 repair on a $2000 computer!
