Black Wheels on Lapis Blue?

I am in a dilema. I have finally decided on Champion RG5s 19s. The problem is if I should go with the standard silver or go with black centers with polished lips. I always thought I wanted black but I am starting to have second thoughts. What do you guys think?

I have the tailights blacked out and tinted windows so I think the black would tie in nicely (if it was probably any other color I would go black for sure) but I think silver would obviously POP more.

I used to have a Lapis 996 C4S, and my favorite was the silver as well....was never a huge fan of black wheels on blue cars myself, but thats just me....

On lapis blue or any dark color, I would not do black or silver. I suggest brushed.

Here are some charcoal/black options with brushed/silver and blue pinstripe...the blue is not exact, but at least it can give you some ideas for different custom options to personalize the wheels for your car.

Lapis Blue with Slate Gray wheels

Here's a pic of my Lapis Blue car with OEM Slate Gray wheels (silver lip):

This should give you some idea of what it would look like. Note how it accents the yellow calipers.

I think I agree with most of the comments that silver would look better. I just love the look of black/polished rims on other cars I wanted them for mine, but I just think dark blue isn't the ideal color for them.

Here is a silver and charcoal combo with a blue accent to tye in the color of the car...I know the blue is not exact but against the silver color it gives you the idea of the look. Brilliant silver on a blue color car is a clean look, probably the best look going, however if you like the look of black wheels or the sporty look of black wheels, then doing a charcoal with silver combo may not be a bad idea to look at...I think most will say all black wheels against the dark blue car may be a drowned out look, but there are many options out there to do a custom set of wheels that will be personalized and unique to your liking with a clean mix of colors that appeal to your individual taste.

Anyway just some thoughts, I hope they help.

if u get black centers, go with semi-gloss black!!! matt black looks dirty after a while.
