Saw my first Mercedes Benz SL65 Black Series in Miami Beach this weekend in White
Saw my first Mercedes SL65 Black Series this weekend on a trip to Miami Beach. It was White and was driving up and down Collins Avenue. Although it was a beautiful car, I am not as impressed in person as I thought I wouldve been. It was hard to distinguish it between a regular SL65. I know the bumpers are different and it has the aero kit, I think Mercedes shouldve widen the rear fenders a little and put on some kind of rear valence to make it stand out from the crowd. Just my two cents

To my understanding the rear fenders are flared on the SL65 BS over the normal SL's

What you saw was probably the facelifted SL65. There is no way to mistake the Black Series for the regular SL65. The Black is massively wider.

+1, the BS is much wider with extremely flared fenders.

Sounds strange. I think the SL65 BS is already quite aggressive as far as styling compared to the other SL AMG models...

SL65...



SL 63...



SL65 Black Series...

you didnt see a black series, in fact i think exactly what car you saw...

did it have black rims (HRE monoblocks) on it with a white pine stripe?
