Took my bone stock 06 Z06 out today to a small 6speed track rental today and bolted on some drag radials and had some pretty good results! The air temps were 68 degrees, decent but not the best. Everyone writes the Z06 off a lot lately but they still can hold their own! Here are the timeslips.

 

Congrats Jamie wish I could of brought the GTR but still waiting to get the new LC program so maybe on the next one. Your car is very fast but I must say alot of it is the driver! Be safe hope to see ya soon.

Jimmy thanks! After meeting you and seeing your GT-R in person you have me hooked and make me want to buy one which I guess I am going to do sometime soon. I unlike some guys love the looks of the GT-R and the performance speaks for itself. I guesss Nissan is now offering a program for the transmission that keeps them alive without LC and I have read on some boards about basically stock cars with tunes running 11.00's and with that being the case mid 10's safely cannot be far behind! I think I have a pretty good stable of cars and the GT-R would be a nice compliment.

 

No, but with just a pulley and tune as the only mods it ran 10.68 at 136mph on the factory issued tires.

 

Those Ford GT's are no joke, that and the ACR would give me a pause on the ZR-1.

its amazing when you see times someone who can drive, when i go to the track i see modded z06s going low12s high 11s

 

Anyone running low 12's in a modified C6 Z06 should be shot, and tarred and feathered.....

 

Or given driving lessons, or just better tires.
