Need help with Champion RG5 19"
Need help with Champion RG5 19"
Can someone please explain to me a different width options for the 19" RG5 wheels. Champion Motorsport shows 4 sizes for 997/997S application 19x8 ET46, 19x8.5 ET53, 19x11 ET55, and 19x11.5 ET62. Do these all work for the narrow body 997 or are the wheels with front 8.5 and rear 11.5 for widebody (C4/C4S/Turbo)? Can I fit a 19x8.5 front and 19x11.5 in my narrowbody 997? Will I run into issues with rubbing?
Many thanks for helping me clear up the confusion
Many thanks for helping me clear up the confusion
if i were you i would run the 19x8.5 ET53, 19x11, with the 11's in the rear you should be able to use your original tires if you have the carrera S with the factory 295 30 19 pirellis, you can run the 11.5 in the rear but you might have to get new tires because they might looked strecthed. i dont think that a 11, and 11.5 rim makes much difference in performance. hope this helps

also if you run the 11.5 you should probably go with a 285 30 19. i have some friends running the 11.5 in the rear and they have to go down to a 285 so it didn't rub. by the way i just ordered a set of wheels for my car and decieded on just a 11 in the rear so i can re-use my brand new ps2 that i just bought for my carrera classic wheels
hey v35, i actually had a set of iforged custom made for me. thank you for sending my the link for the work wheels,...i actually opted to do a color combination for my wheels that i would probably never be able to find used. again thanks, and i will post up my wheels as soon as they arrive.
