This would be all about my second post here. New to the site for sure.. I've got a self modded 2000 FRC corvette, making decent power. Tried all different kinds of setups and mods,...ultimatly ended up with a pair of tiny turbos. Car has various suspension mods, as well as various other go fast gadgets. Car is not a show car,...simply all buisness. I've modded everything myself as i'm a GM dealership technician now for several years.


Anyways, seems like a cool site. Happy to have a six speed,..and happy to be here.

Nice. Was tied up this weekend,..unable to post them but,..do my best to make it tonight.

Good question. It's alot more of a highway car to be honest. More on the prowl for liter bikes. But, I do intend to make it to the new PBIR in palm beach with it. Just as luck(if there is such a thing) would have it,...everytime the cars ready to go,..something with it happens.

To give you an idea...list of mods go as...

2005 LS6 with studs, stock internals.
AFR 205's
FAST 90-90
harland sharp roller rockers
233 237 .649 .598 112 camshaft
(car made 450rwhp with full exhaust on above setup)

then I removed the full exhaust(not before trying out a procharger)...and added a pro turbo twin 67mm turbo kit. Car now makes 787rwhp and 696rwtq as is. Also has coilovers, min tub, and black fikse profile 5s. Bunch of other crap,...

I recently planned to go to the track but I broke my driveshaft,...then replaced it,..then the same weekend ruined a head gasket. So,..now the cars probably gonna change mods. Picked up another bottom end,... so, the build process will begin when I rob a bank or get busy again at work.

cool deal. If all goes well, a few months. We're gonna try a few different wheel/ tire setups for the visit. I'm not running a 3.42 anymore, cause on the highway with THAT gear, and pilot's, @ WOT in 4th gear,...it'd be accelerating great, hooking and everything,..hundered mph, no problem,...120mph no issue,....4700rpms and 135-145mph,...and SPIN CITY. Soo,..sucks for me. I ened up breaking the 3.42,..and threw a heavy duty output shaft and C6 Z06 clutch packs together,....in a 2.73 gear rearend,...threw my dte brace back on,..and now thats what I am running.

Not by any means a 1/4 mile setup but,...it'll be fun no doubt. Now, atleast on the street I can pedal third,..and 4th dead hooks(regular street Z rated tire) I also have my stock rear 18's,..with nitto 305 DR's,... which, with the 2.73's,...which DEAD hooks at a 35mph roll in 1st gear(DEAD HOOKS). So,..i'll run a couple of different tires at the track. I wanna see what it really runs in street trim,.. even though now, when it comes back out, I think i'll run a TOYO RA1 or R888,..or something that'll keep up with coilovers, meaning I like a good sidewall, and traction. Not really a DRAG RADIAL only guy for the highway. We also have a set of CCW slicks and skinnys but, I am afraid i'll break soimething soo,....i'm not gonna use them.

Hell yes.
