2 Bonded Pet Rabbits (North East Only)
2 Bonded Pet Rabbits (North East Only)
My girlfriend is letting go her two bonded pet rabbits. Her living situation has changed and she can no longer keep the rabbits. They are actually really cool (if you've never had rabbits before.)
They are for sale for $66, it's actually just a processing fee from the adoption agency she used to purchase them in the first place so she is just trying to give back a little. This fee included the rabbits, the cage, all accessories/toys and whatever current amount of litter and feed she has at the time.
They are great with kids just not dogs (and I'm assuming cats as well.)
Here is the link to them: Adopt a Dutch: Tucker & Millicent: Petfinder
Here is how my girlfriend describes them:
They Love lots of attention and make great be free roam rabbits. They did well when they had a room to themselves and only needed one litter pan inside the cage. Previous owner will supply their cage, litter pan, toys, etc. She wants them to go to someone who has experience with house rabbits. Tucker - Black & White Dutch male, about 4 lbs, 2 - 2.5 years He is so intelligent and adventurous. He learned how to open doors if they weren't clicked shut and knock on other doors to get attention. He is very curious and will get into anything, he once jumped into my hamper and couldn't get himself out. He can be a chewer so make sure all cords are protected and he is very afraid of dogs. He has become quite the cuddler and actually likes being held as long as he is being pet. Millie - Brown lop female, about 4 lbs, 2 or less years She is such a laid back bunny. She hops around like she doesn't know where she is going and then flops down to rest. She doesn't like to be held, but enjoys being pet, especially her nose (which is always wet!) She is extremely easy to handle though even if she's not happy (like when trimming her nails). She loves shredding paper and has stolen pieces from me when I was scrapbooking.
Tucker & Millicent is house trained and spayed/neutered.
So if you or someone you know may be interested please feel free to contact me. I know we would be willing to either deliver them or meet half way and of course you would be welcome to pick up as well.

Rabbits are indeed great pets. I had a rabbit when I was a kid but it unfortunately chewed threw the cable cord and electrocuted himself to death. If anyone gets these you really need to protect all electrical cords if you leave them out.
exactly, you can see the cord protector in picture 2
bump....really trying to find a home for these guys....if you know someone interested we may be able to work something out if need be on the cost (not that $70 is a lot)
You should leave the cost where it is or even raise it so you make the people getting the rabbits really want them and wont toss them out in a week or a month after the excitement of having rabbits passes.

the cost is actually for the the adoption agency, my girlfriend stands to make nothing on this transaction...although you do raise a great point (however I feel most people on here are responsible and understand the issues with any pet)
