i would have to think a 6-speed cts-v. also, won't cost you much to really put some good power to the ground.

V vs 63

Thanks. I'm being told that the auto tranny version is actually faster than the manual even though hp is reduced on the auto version. Hmmm. The C63 motor/exhaust sounds sweet though! Both are very mod friendly.

CTS-V w/o a doubt, driven neighbors, incredible sedan. Friend has C63, def not a bad car, but I much prefer the V over it. Neighbors is auto too, and believe me with custom exhaust sounds badass, its fairly quiet stock.

Ha.

Where talking about an 09 CTS-V right? dude, that thing is BADASS. I've driven manual and auto's,...and I am a six speed only guy but,...I would seiously consider owning an auto cts-v,... just because it really is that good. The car is SUPER MOD FRIENDLY(hello.....it's an LSX platform motor)...(your talking capability of over 1000rwhp with ease....more if your that hardcore).

Strongly recommend simply driving the car man. If your serious about it,...go and drive it. Wicked, wicked car. I have driven alot of truly fast cars,... can't tell you how impressed I am with that caddy,...manual or even auto.

Oh I dunno man,.... I like my exhaust loud, not the cars emblem.

In a cool way, forget what you think you know about domestic's, and go drive an 09 CTS-V.

I think you'll have a change of heart.

That's what most tests say so far. US tests, anyway. It's also faster than the C63 in at least one same-day test.

One thing to keep in mind about most C63 reviews is that the car is often noted for its harsh ride and somewhat poor composure over bumps. The magnetic shocks on the CTS-V are likely far more compliant. For the C63, if you want the LSD, you get it bundled in the optional Performance Package which comes with an even harsher-riding suspension. I believe LSD is standard on the CTS-V.

I am a six speed fan (Ram SRT 10), but my daily driver is an O9 CTS V automatic.

I have nearly 9000 miles on the V2 in three months. Took a trip to S. California with my son, and had a chance to elevate the speed a little in Colorado, Utah, Nevada...

The V2 is the most responsive car I have ever owned (in the past Porsche, Mercedes, etc.). It turns low 12's off the show room floor. Lingenfelter has a $600 mod that puts the V2 in the same category as my supercharged SRT 10 (11.70's).

It is a beautiful car that handles like a sports car. It has three traction settings, three transmission settings (not counting the paddle shifters) and two suspension settings...my math says that there are more setups for this car than I will ever use.

Bottom line for me was the LSA engine (basically the same as the LS9 from the ZR1 Corvette without the forged pistons and rods and detuned), and a Eaton Gen 6 supercharger that pushes 8 lbs of boost that's three pounds less than the Eaton on the ZR1. All of this hot stuff...with a 100,000 mile warranty.

A couple of pics:
