New American Muscle, SRT6
New member here, was told about this site by a few members of the DFW Auto Club. I have not seen anyone on here with a Crossfire SRT6 so I thought I would post a few pics of mine. Most do not know of this little "half breed", as it has a 3.2 liter Mercedes supercharged AMG powerplant with a Chrysler badge. Nothing too radical done to it, just a few bolt ons and tuning and she can do a high 11's on street tires in the 1/4 mile.

Nice numbers, must have good gearing to break 11's. What do they weigh?

and a 3:07 gear. Mine is trapping at 116mph and 19lbs of boost. With a taller gear, it could run mid 11's with that mph.

Interesting. Same 3:07 gears, similar weight and 1/4 times/mph as the Gen II Vipers and you only have 370rwhp as opposed to the 400-420rwhp the Gen II put down to run those times. Car looks good. Would love to paint that windshield surround body color as well. Guy on my block has one and thats the same thought I get everytime I see one.

I agree about the silver windshield surround, door handles and side strakes…..I have always disliked the contrasting color. I even went so far to receive a quote to paint it body color and could not stomach the $700 cost to make the change!
These little cars are surprisingly quick. I believe mine is the 4th or 5th quickest on Dragtimes, and with a simple CAI, Supercharger Pulley and an ECU tune, most any driver can run a 12.3-12.00. There are just a few of us in the 11’s without N20. Heatsoak is the killer of HP with these cars and I have more cooling mods than most. Also, they never show high dyno numbers due to the inability to turn off the traction control and abs module. The Mercedes C32’s with the same motor have “dyno” mode that these cars do not, so I think the dyno numbers are inaccurate. Most dyno operators cant even provide a torque reading on these cars.
Not really, 11s are not that uncommon. I have attached a scan of my best run from last month. Sorry for the poor resolution, the slips from Ennis always seem so light. You can Zoom in to see it better. Below is what it reads.
60' 1.864
330 5.091
1/8 7.752
1/8MPH 93.73
1000 10.008
1/4 11.933
MPH 116.32

A little hard to grasp, but I've seen them run in the low 13s. Not arguing the performance of your car, but I would definately be upset/surprised getting rolled on by that thing LOL
Nicely done.

Welcome man. I've always thought those look good, just needs to be lower!
MPH is definitely there, the last T/A I had went 11.60 at 116. 3600lbs with me in it.
Not bad at all, what do those cars usually 60'?
