10 Camaro SS impressions?

Any owners of a 2010 SS out there to share their pics and experiences with the car yet?

I love mine. Very nice WELL priced car. Mine is the RS SS version with 6.2L V8 6 Speed. I've modded it a touch with a ProCharger Supercharger bringing it to nearly 600hp. I dropped it just over an inch added some sway bars and exhaust and some new shoes

I have a few cars and dollar for dollar this one is WAY Up there. Very Good

Not a huge fan of the ground effects kit, but man that is one mean looking ride.

Nice looking SS - anything you would change or suggest they do differently next model year?

^^^^I really wouldn't change anything. I think the interior is cool. It's really a comfortable car all the way around. I have always been an american car guy I just think the Euro stuff is better at high speeds. I wish the Convertibles weren't going to be 2011 ( if that happens ) That's the one thing I would change. The chance to add a Convertible would be cool. imo It handles way better than I thought it would. I was shocked actually. I like the looks so didn't care if the 38k car didn't perform that great. It's not as fun to corner as most Euro cars and I don't think any amount of suspension work will take the Heavy feel out of it. It's just a big heavy car. My ex Brother In Law has one of the new GT500 Shelby Convertibles and his doesn't just feel Heavy it feels sloppy and like a large boat turning. So in the 2 American Muscles I've driven this Camaro imo is Miles above the Ford.

For the Price. No different then the 120k ZR1 it's really tough to beat these cars.

I enjoy mine (SS, manual) quite a bit. It rides very well, has low road noise for a sportscar. Seats are comfortable, as well as getting in/out of it. Styling is very aggressive, gets a lot of attention. For $35K, I can't think of any other cars I would rather have.

Pics here, I've put 22" wheels on it and the Magnacharger goes on whenever I get some free time to install it.

My neighbor just bought a white one with orange stripes and half the block is over there checking it out. Funny not many cars will do that for under a 100K.

It's inexpensively priced, relatively speaking. Was ex brother in laws Shelby a 2010? They have apparently worked out more handling issues in the 10's.

Great looking ride - what size wheel/tire combo did you go with?

Thanks. The wheels are 22x9 fronts, 22x11 rears. 275 wide front tires, 315 wide rears.

Looks like theirs a gap at the corner of the ground effects kit. I install these kits on our camaro's at the local dealership i work for. GM released a bulletin for this case and came out with a glue designed to get rid of the gap. Little FYI for yah since I, myself, it bugs the hell outta me when these kits do that due to the design

His would have to be an 09 maybe 08. He got it very early in the run of them. It's just got some serious shock issues I think.

Not a problem at all. Always out to help people. I think the product is LORD and/or 3M. Depends on what the dealership choose, i know we use LORD since 3M wanted us to buy a case of it when its not needed. I just installed a kit on the Transformers Edition yesterday and the corners did the same thing. Thank god we have the new adhesive in stock. BTW car looks great with painted to match kit. Only have done 2 out of the 8 cars with painted effects and its definetly the finishing touch for the Camaro.
